Roughly, two months ago I stated that I wanted to change. I did. I changed. The emotions I got from this change is not what I wanted though. I wanted to feel better about myself; where, instead, I lost myself. So, if you see my old self walking around could you please tell them that I want them back? I miss them.
Being a freshmen in college for me started out (and still is)pretty stressful and full of changes. I know exactly how you feel. I've felt like that plenty of times, but it does get better.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the comment above... when I graduated college it was actually a really hard time for me. Very long story short I was in a unhealthy on and off again relationship from the time I was a freshman in high school to a senior in college. When it ended for sure I was a mess, seriously didn't understand who I was, and I know the feeling. It takes time but it will all come together I promise! :) It sucks right now! But it will figure its self out and when it does... you come out so much stronger and know what you want. Anyway I always find listening to music was a good way relax myself... you should listen to Brad Paisley Find yourself.
ReplyDeleteWhen you find yourself in some far off place
and it causes you to rethink some things
You start to sense that slowly you're becoming someone else
And then you find yourself...
When you make new friends in a brand new town
and you start to think about settling down
The things that would have been lost on you
are now clear as a bell
And you find yourself,
yeah that's when you find yourself
Well you go through life
so sure of where you're heading
And you wind up lost
and its the best thing that could have happened
Cause sometimes when you lose your way, its really just as well
because you find yourself,
yeah that's when you find yourself.
sorry you've been feeling that way! i'm sure things will get back to normal in good time!
